Immunizations

• Patients receiving chemotherapy should not receive any vaccines without the authorization of their oncologist.  This can be coordinated with your primary care physician.

• Attention should also be made to “sibling” immunizations.  In some cases, the sibling vaccination schedule might need to be modified; this also can be discussed with your oncologist.
